We had a very exciting day yesterday because it was UAB's signing day for this year's football recruiting class. For those of you who don't know the importance of this day, it signifies the end of many long, lonely stressful weeks! It also signifies the end of recruiting weekends (4 total in January and several in December) where the husbands are also busy the whole weekend. Needless to say, the coaches' wives decided to throw a big lunch to celebrate this day. We had a blast!! It was the first time I have gotten together with the coaches' wives since the Christmas party, and we always have a great time when we get together. It was so nice, too, to get Jake out of the house. He did so well; in fact, he was so full of smiles when we got home, I couldn't miss the photo op.
