I just got back from my doctor's appointment and I am so relieved- Anderson is head down!! Woo hoo! The doctor really had me freaked out about the potential complications from him being transverse if I went into labor on my own, which I have with the older two boys, but praise the Lord he turned on his own and is ready to go!
I have to make this quick, so I'll hit the highlights:
- He is measuring 8 lbs 7 oz right now and 41 weeks on ultrasound
- He wouldn't let us see hardly anything on ultrasound because he is facing with his back up and he is packed in there so tightly. She couldn't even see between his legs to triple confirm that he is a boy. He is absolutely squished in there.
- We did see lots of rolls on his arms and a little bit of fuzz on his head.
- He has a foot planted in my right rib. I knew it all along, but she confirmed it.
- He was practicing breathing and everything he needed to do to pass his biophysical profile.
- My belly is only measuring 39 weeks though despite what the ultrasound said.
- His heart rate was 138.
- Oh, and I now outweigh my husband. I don't weigh quite as much (yet) as I did when I had Jake, but I weigh more than when I had Walker. Sigh.
So now the waiting game starts. I am just praying I don't go into labor before or during Tyson's game this Thursday night. Coach O'Leary's wife said she thinks it would be pretty cool to see Tyson sprinting off the field during the game if I go into labor- she said it would make for a great story on ESPN...all I could say was "there is no way I am going to let my husband know during the game if I go into labor. Anderson is just going to have to wait until after the game to come!"...and all I could think was "there is no way your husband would let my husband leave the game for a baby!" Ha!
So anyways, that's all for now. I'll keep y'all posted! :)
