It turns out that our team mom just happens to be a professional photographer, so she shot some pics of the boys and I couldn't resist posting them.  I have giggled so much over that picture with Jake and his legs up in the air!  I missed what happened, but the other parents told me that Jake dove for a ball, did a flip to avoid colliding with another player, and got up...with no ball in his hand.  Ha!

Man, what an awesome weekend we just had!!  We spent a lot of time in the pool, went to SeaWorld, went to Jake's t-ball game, and bought a new car!! 

Jake had an awesome t-ball game on Saturday; in fact, he even earned the "team ball."  I cannot explain how excited he was to get the team ball!!  Jake has come such a long way since last year and even since the beginning of this season.  He LOVES t-ball/baseball and wants to practice every day.  Thankfully, our flower pickin' and playing in the dirt during the game days are gone!!  Well, those days are gone for Jake at least...I'm sure we still have plenty more with Walker and #3. ;)

So about the new car, it is actually a mini-van and I've never been more excited in my life to have a new car!!  Tyson has been trying to talk me into getting a mini-van since we were pregnant with Walker, but I just wasn't ready.  Well, now that I spend so much time in the car hauling youngins' every where and carpooling with friends (and not to mention having #3 on the way), I NEEDED a bigger car.  Mini-van it was!!  It is absolutely awesome!  Jake says he "loves all the space!" Hahaha!  He is sitting in the back already and Walker sits in the middle in front of him- it actually works out well this way because they can't reach each other to fight!  Ha!  I love it!!!

Other than that, we're just enjoying our time together.  Tyson has been very lucky with his recruiting schedule so far and has been home a lot more than normal, but that will all change next weekend. :(
     

3 Year Check-up and 18 Weeks!

 

Walker had his 3 year check-up last week and he weighs 31.5 lbs (36%) and is 38.3 inches tall (75%).  Yep, tall and skinny...like no one in our family ever.  Ha!  He's even earned the nickname, "chicken legs."  For comparison, Jake was 38.5 lbs and 38.5 inches at 3 years, so they are very close in height but definitely a little off in weight.  The doctor said not to worry about his weight dropping in percentile right now because he is gaining weight, and 3 is not exactly the age to rationalize with him about eating. ;)  This boy is the pickiest eater ever...that and he takes FOREVER to eat his food.  Oh well, we'll pick our battles and food is not it as long as he is gaining weight.

 

Otherwise, all is well with Walker.  We saw the allergist last week and he is going to wait until Walker is a little older to do more testing, but he agreed that Walker does probably have a dog allergy. :(  And when I say an allergy, I don't mean he starts sneezing in the presence of dogs, the child's eyes and lips swell up!  Now, he doesn't do that with all dogs (like my parents chihuahua and other short-haired dogs), but long-haired dogs definitely set him off.  The allergist said that the long and short haired thing doesn't matter, but whatever...mom knows best. ;)  Walker's peanut allergy was the other topic of conversation; when I was at the beach with my parents in the fall, Walker had an ice cream topped with sprinkles and had a major allergic reaction.  Come to find out, the sprinkles were next to the peanuts, and that's what set him off.  Now, Walker can't be around peanuts, have any type of tree nuts when away from us, and has to have a peanut-free zone at school.  Ugh.  My little bubble boy.

 



And here I am at 18 weeks.  I had a check-up this past Monday, but the doctor had absolutely nothing to tell me (heart beat, fundal height measurement, or anything else that I normally write on here).  I'm really frustrated with this doctor (for several reasons), so I'm in the process of switching OBs.  I'm thinking that when I switch, the new doctor will probably go back to my original due date of 9/21, which coincidentally a bye week for UCF, but I'll keep y'all posted.  Tyson is really hoping I can make it to the bye week to deliver so that he can be there, but Lord knows I'll probably go into labor the weekend UCF plays at Penn State.  Sigh.

Jake's Art Show

Last week, Jake's Preschool had an art show to display some of the kids' recent art.  I cannot even begin to explain how excited Jake was about this art show; it is all he's talked about for weeks (well that and his preschool graduation). 

 

The day of the art show was a little hectic.  Of course, the boys had school that day, but then we had to go to karate and rush home and get ready for the art show and leave.  I was just planning to leave Jake in his karate uniform because I didn't have enough time to bathe the boys, but Jake got super sweaty at karate and informed me that "[he] wanted to smell nice for his art show."   Bahaha!  He's usually such a boy and doesn't care about how he smells or looks, but he even asked me to put him in his "church clothes."  I knew he meant business then!

 

Jake was super proud to show us all of his art work, to introduce us to his new friends, and to show us his classroom.  He had informed me earlier that the kids would be singing "You're A Grand Old Flag" (which is actually what they're learning for graduation) on a stage in their classroom, and when I mentioned that to the teachers, one teacher said, "I could see Jake saying that."  I can only imagine what she meant, but it definitely made me laugh.  I guess our boy has quite the imagination. ;)   

 

**Oh, and if you notice, some of Jake's art work is by "Jacob Summers," which Jake cannot stand being called.  He even told Tyson, "it says 'Jacob,' but that's not my real name." Hahaha!

 The sonographer said he was all stretched out and taking up every single space of my uterus possible!  Ha!

 Yep, I saw this part on 3D/4D up close, and there is no denying that he is a little boy!!

 This picture creeps Tyson out a little bit, but I think it's amazing.  He's perfect!!

During the ultrasound, this little booger wouldn't be still.  He kept wiggling around, kicking his feet, and rubbing his little eyes (which is what she videoed him doing here).  Precious!!

 

Yesterday, I had my 18 week ultrasound with a specialist here in Orlando.  As I said on here before, my hole-in-the-wall doctor doesn't do the anatomy scan, so he sends his patients to a maternal-fetal specialist, which is awesome because I got the Level 2 ultrasound just because. :)  And praise the Lord, we have another healthy little boy on the way!!

 

Tyson wasn't able to go to the appointment with me, so I took my other main man (Jake) with me and left Walker with a friend.  I was so excited for Jake to be able to see the baby and hopefully get a little more excited about having another brother (I'm pretty sure he's still praying it turns out to be a girl ;), but he was a little less than enthused about the whole thing!  Hahaha!  He did take a break from Angry Birds every now and then to look up when I told him to. ;)  His only comment during the ultrasound was "why is he naked?"  Hahaha!  He did think it was funny to see #3's "pee pee" in 3D/4D and to see him making a fist. :)

 

As I mentioned in the pictures above, #3 was a wiggly little thing.  He had his feet crossed the entire time but somehow managed to kick them and move his arms at the same time.  He's going to be a coordinated little thing for sure! ;) I"ll tell you what, I usually don't get emotional at ultrasounds, but seeing him rubbing those little eyes made me cry.  Jake even said, "He's so cute, I'm about to cry, too!"  Sweet boy.

 

Baby boy #3 (who we had a name for but then decided we couldn't commit to it) is perfect; he's in the 56% for size and is about 9 oz right now.  I should know more at my check-up next week with my doctor, so I'll keep y'all posted as we go along.  Maybe I'll even grace y'all with a baby bump pic! :)

 I know, I know...I really need to stop posting these awful pics of me.  Just keepin' it real.  It was hot, I was sweaty, and pregnancy isn't looking good on me. ;)

Tyson's spring game was this past Saturday, and whew, it was a hot one!  The boys even went through two sno-cones (hence the blue lips).  Mama had blue lips, too, but I can get away with it right now. ;) 

The game was a lot of fun!  My parents came down to celebrate Walker's and Tyson's birthdays and to go to the spring game, so that was nice having them around.  And several of Walker's and Jake's friends came to the game and the kids really enjoyed that!  I have to admit, I was too busy socializing to watch much of the game; the little bit that I did watch, though, the team looked good.

Hallelujah that spring ball is over!!  Now, on to spring recruiting and then we're that much closer to VACATION!!!!  Woo hoo!!!
