Memorial Day Weekend

 My mom and Anderson
My nephew and niece, Jace and Gracie
 My mom with her grands

 All the Summers boys

 #1 and #3
He's thinking really hard about eating the sand...
...so he did.  And he loved it!
My #2.  Yes, I've become that mom who gives her children a number.

 Twins.

Total Diva.  Gracie insisted on wearing sunglasses the entire meal.  Ha!
Happy 40th Anniversary to my parents!!
The only pic I have of my dad from the weekend...and Jake is mean-muggin.
 Matching cousins.

We spent Memorial Day in St. Simons Island, Ga with my parents and my sister and her family.  Saturday, we hit the beach and pool where the Summers family acted like some rookie Floridians and got burnt!  We didn't lose any kids this year, though, so it was still a major success.

Saturday night, we surprised my parents with an early anniversary dinner complete with cake and flowers.  I think my mom was really surprised and excited; dad was in on the surprise, but he still acted surprised anyways.  Hahaha!

Sunday morning, all the boys (well, not Anderson) went on a charter fishing trip.  Walker and Jace caught some sting rays, Jake caught a shark, my dad caught some flounder, Courtney caught a shark, and Tyson caught some flack from everyone for not catching anything.  Hahaha!  I'll have to post pics from the fishing trip next. :)  While the boys fished, the girls and Anderson were a little lazy and hung out in our PJs most the morning; that was pretty awesome.  Once the boys got back, we took our boys down to the pier and called it an early night.

This trip was way too short, but it was just what we needed.  Between packing this house in preparation for the move and dealing with Tyson's recruiting, we were all in need of a vacay.  Unfortunately, we got home and the house had not packed itself, so back to the boxing I go. :/

Jake's Kindergarten Program

 Daniel and Jake
Once he spotted us...and saw my camera. ;)
 My little lily pad.

Jake's school had their Kindergarten program this past week.  He has been singing these songs and going through the motions for weeks, but of course, he got on stage and sort of froze.  Sweet boy just doesn't like that kind of attention, and that is perfectly fine.  His stage is more in the shape of a football field or baseball diamond. ;)

Walker's End of the Year Program

*Please note the jean shorts...yes, I had to borrow them from a friend just for this.  Welcome to Florida, folks!

Walker's school had their end of the year program this week.  As you can tell from the video, Walker wasn't much into the singing, but he got every single motion correct.  He even made sure his friends were doing the correct motion. ;)

"Giant Baby!"

Oh my goodness, I love these pics of my baby boy.  My photographer friend and I met up for lunch and she snapped some pics of Anderson around our little square.  I had a particular shot that I wanted her to get of Anderson in this cute little jon jon that Jake wore at the same age, but sweet boy ended up crashing on the concrete and our session ended pretty quickly.  She got a lot of great shots, though, of Anderson prior to that.

Ok, so on to the title of the post, "giant baby!"  I don't know where the boys got it from, but whenever Anderson starts crawling towards them and their toys, they start yelling, "HERE COMES THE GIANT BABY!"  Hahaha!  At least they have a good sense of humor about it- I feel like I'm constantly nagging them to get their small toys off the floor for the fear of Anderson swallowing something.  Heaven forbid that I have to take another child to the emergency room for foreign body removal!  Anyways, it's kind of gotten to be a joke whenever Anderson comes our way..."GIANT BABY!!!!!!" :)

Last Baseball Game and Swimming with the Hendersons

Jake gets his trophy from Coach Tom.

 Our buddy, Ryan Wensyel.

The boys with coach Tom's son, Cooper.

 And now with Nate Sperry.
 Walker and Cole
My boys with Cole and Mason

Jake had his last baseball game of the season this past weekend.  I'll tell y'all what, he's turned into a pretty good little baseball player.  Every time he stepped up to bat, the other team's coach told all the kids to back up.  :)  We've really enjoyed this season and are gonna miss baseball and our baseball friends.

In between soccer and baseball games, we spent our weekend packing up the house.  We weren't supposed to move until mid-June, but the property manager of the house we're currently in got the dates wrong so we have to be out June 1st.  Luckily for us, though, we're gonna be able to get into our new house early.  I can't begin to explain how stressful this whole process has been; I know it'll be worth it once we're in the new house and settled...we just have a long 2-3 weeks to go to get there.  And of course, Tyson is gone recruiting and I'm stuck packing the house by myself with 3 wild boys running (and crawling) around. :(

We did take a little break from packing to hang out with our friends, the Hendersons.  Cole is in 4th grade and Mason is in 3rd, and they are sooooo good to my boys.  Jake just idolizes Cole; Cole comes and checks on Jake daily at lunch and lets Jake walk home with him and the big boys.  We couldn't have asked for better role models for the boys.  We're sure gonna miss them when we move 1 mile away. ;)
