Easter!

My new favorite picture of us taken by our 13 year old neighbor. :)
When did my baby get this big?  He turns the big 0-3 in 11 more days!!

Happy Easter!!  I'm definitely behind on posting our pictures from spring break, but I just had to post these precious pictures from our Easter today.

We started out the day with an awesome church service, and then we came home and dyed Easter eggs while Tyson pressure washed the patio.  After that, we went to my friend's Carol's house for an Easter lunch with friends.  We had a great time!

This Easter definitely goes down in the books as one of the best!  I hope everyone had a great Easter as well!!

Spring Break and Spring Practice!

While Tyson is hard at work at spring practice this week, the boys and I are on spring break!  I haven't been this excited about spring break in a while.  I just feel like we are just constantly on the go lately, so I'm ready to spend some much need quality time with my boys.  We're headed to St. Simons with my parents (hello grandparent time!), so I won't be blogging this week.  I hope everyone has a great week!  We're gonna miss you, Tyson!  Have fun at work so you can "pay for all of these toys." ;)

Baby #3 is...

A BOY!!!

Let me just begin by saying that I knew all along it was a boy; I've been looking at boys' names in the baby book and looking at baby boy bedding. However, as prepared in my mind as I was that it was probably another boy, nothing can describe the shock that I felt when the doctor told me it was definitely another boy! I don't know what came over me! Actually, I do. You see, Monday morning (the day of the ultrasound) started off with Jake breaking the toilet seat and Walker peeing all around the toilet like a dern fire hose! So when the doctor told me it was another boy, all I could think was "I've got at least 18 more years of this?" Hahaha!

I'll be honest, I know I'm gonna love having 3 little boys, but a part of me has always wanted a girl. Now, I'm not a girly-girl by any means, I just think it would be awesome to have both sexes and to be able to do "girl things." I think I am a really good boy mama, though, and I know God knows what He is doing. I guess I just thought that after having 2 boys, I'd just have a girl. Duh.

Walker is super excited that it's a little boy; Jake, on the other hand, said, "I've been praying for a girl...I'm so mad at God!" :( Poor kid! He's slowly coming around to the idea, though. They have both been super cute and love to sing to their brother and give him kisses. And those two (Jake and Walker) are truly the best of friends, and I know #3 will be, too.

So the question that I've already been asked at least 100 times- are we gonna try 1 more time for a girl? Whew! I don't know. I've always said I wanted 3, but Tyson really wants 4 regardless. My doctor is really pushing for me to have a tubal ligation after my c-section, though, so we'll see. Right now, I'm just gonna pray for a healthy baby and enjoy being a mama to my 2+1 boys. :)

Oh, and how could I forget about my hubby? Tyson is excited it's a boy! I think he would like to have a girl, but then again, his life just got a lot less stressful with it being a boy, if you know what I mean. ;) I do have to say, though, that the doctor did say it is early and it could change, but given how "well endowed" my son is, he doubts it could be a girl. Ha! The baby looked good otherwise- his heart rate was 156, he is measuring right on with my adjusted due date, and he was kicking up a storm.

I am set to see a perinatologist on April 15th for my big ultrasound, so prayers would be appreciated! Thanks!

Easter Egg Hunt!

Today was our church's Easter Egg Hunt, and boy, what a beautiful day it was for it!  And Tyson even got to go!  (Poor thing has been working like a dog since starting spring practice this week).

Walker's group, the 0-2 year olds went first.  Walker was a little cranky from being awaken from his nap to come to the Easter Egg Hunt, so he wasn't in the best of moods for hunting for eggs.  He still had fun nonetheless and racked up on prizes.  He finally started perking up towards the end when he got to play with some of his school friends on the bounce houses.

Jake's group, the 3-5 year olds, went second.  As Walker and I were turning in his eggs and collecting his prizes, Tyson took Jake and started scoping out all the eggs.  Tyson was actually coaching Jake up (pictured above) when we got there; I quickly had to remind my child (and husband) that it wasn't a race and it wasn't about who gets the most eggs.  Whatever- like father like child- Jake Summers is way too competitive for that!

All in all, it was an awesome day and a great weekend.  Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

Grasshoppers and Hopwoods

 The Grasshoppers

Walker and Jake with Ella and Walker Hopwood

We had yet another fun weekend this past weekend.  After our adventures to Disney World on Friday, we woke up Saturday and went to Jake's t-ball game.  Walker was still exhausted from Friday night, so after the game, Tyson and Jake went to meet up with his cousins at a car show while I stayed home with a napping Walker.  On Sunday, we woke up and drove over to Reunion Resort in Kissimmee to see my best friend from college, Kaycee, who was in town visiting her family (her dad is the Braves coach).  Her parents' place has an awesome water park that we spent the entire day playing at.  I didn't take many pictures, but our kids had so much fun and enjoyed getting to play with Ella and Walker and their cousin.  I sure wish they lived closer...these 4 could get into a lot of trouble together! ;)

Electrical Parade

 Summers and Wensyel boys

 Mickey Mouse!
 Alice in Wonderland

 Captain Hook and Peter Pan
 Cinderella
 The Seven Dwarfs

 Pinocchio
 Pete's Dragon

Our Disney passes ran out this past Saturday, so Tyson and I took the boys to the Electrical Parade at the Magic Kingdom on Friday night.  I just wanted to squeeze in one more visit because I don't think we're gonna renew our passes. :(  Jake is pretty sad about it, but I just don't see myself toting a brand new baby around Disney and I sure enough don't see me toting my big pregnant self around Disney...especially in this Orlando heat!

The Wensyels met us for the Electrical Parade, and the boys had the best time with each other and their glow sticks.  They really didn't know a ton of the characters in the parade since they are the more "classic Disney characters" from our generation.  They still had a blast, though, and loved all the lights and floats.  We even got to catch the fireworks show on the way out, and that was pretty awesome, too.

This was definitely a fun way go out at Disney.  I think I might actually miss that mouse! ;)

Braves Game!

Jarvis Jones throws out the first pitch.

Coach Walker (aka Mr. Greg) is the one in the Braves jacket, hat, and sunglasses turned facing us.

Ever since I was a little girl, I've loved the Braves.  I remember staying up late trying to watch the games until the very end- that was back when Terry Pendleton (the big teddy bear) played.  He was always my favorite. ;)  When I moved to Atlanta after college, I went to Braves games every chance I got...until I got mugged leaving the parking lot.  After that, I kind of had a bad taste for the Braves; I think a lot of that was me blaming the Braves organization for having such shady parking!  Anyways, about a year ago (or was it two?), one of my best friend's dad got a coaching job with the Braves, so I quickly got over my grudge and started liking the Braves again.

Kaycee's dad, Mr. Greg, was always one of my favorites of the dads.  He is always so sweet and very humble even though he played and coaches major league baseball.  Well, when Kaycee told me that the Braves have spring training down here in Orlando and her dad would love to have us to a game, I jumped at the opportunity.  Tyson, the boys, and I went to a game this past Sunday against the Detroit Tigers, and the Braves won 6-1.  It was definitely such an amazing opportunity, and we all had the best time.

We were supposed to get to the game a little early to spend some time with Mr. Greg, but I didn't do my math right and we got to the stadium just as the Braves were finishing warming up and heading into the locker room. :(  Mr. Greg, the sweet man that he is though, came out a little early before the National Anthem to see us and I got to spend some time talking with him. :)  I didn't think to get a picture with him, so I snapped some (paparazzi style) from our seats. Hahahaha!  I would've been so embarrassed if he would've seen me doing that.  Anyways, the boys had a great time going to their first professional baseball game and can't wait to go back!  I'm hoping we can work another game in before the Braves head back to Atlanta because I sure enough won't be visiting Turner Field ever again...unless I am flown in via helicopter and can avoid the parking lots altogether. ;)

Play Ball!

 The Grasshoppers!
A little playing in the dirt during warm ups. :)
 His first at bat!
My little second baseman made one heck of a stop!
Walker and Sean played hide-and-seek during the game.  Walker wasn't so good at hiding.
Boys!! (Technically, he was just tucking in his shirt, but it still looked funny!)

Jake had his first t-ball game this weekend as a Grasshopper.  There was a lot less playing in the dirt and picking flowers this year, so I'd say it was a success. :)
