More on T-Ball

Silly boys.

Trey changed his plans and stuck around for Jake's game.  Thanks, Trey!

 My first baseman.
 Walker on the swings.

We have 3 more t-ball games...woo hoo!  I can't tell y'all how hot it's been at these games lately.  In fact, it's been absolutely miserable!  Poor Jake even said after the game, "I'm so tired of sweating!"  Hahaha!  But he's still having fun, and that's what's most important. :)

I am selfishly a little excited about t-ball season winding down.  I don't know what in the world I was thinking putting so much on my plate- the boys go to school 3 days a week, Jake goes to karate 2 times a week and t-ball 2 times a week, and Walker now goes to swim lessons 3 times a week.  Whew!  It makes my head spin just thinking about it!  It's worth it, though, because the boys are having a blast and making lots of new friends.

Trey and Holly

My cousin, Trey, and his girlfriend, Holly, came to visit us for a few days after leaving the beach.  As you can tell from the picture above, the boys were in Heaven!

While Trey and Holly were here, we went to Wet n Wild.  Oh my gosh...I had so much fun!  I haven't been to a waterpark in a LONG TIME, and I probably won't have the opportunity to go back again sans children, so I totally took advantage of it and went all out.  I wish I had some pictures...but then again, who would want to see me in a bathing suit screaming my bloody head off? Ha!

I feel bad for not taking the boys, but there was no way I was going to take on the two of them by myself.  After we got there and I saw the kids' area, I felt pretty good with my decision.  What a hot mess that was!

Anyways, fun times with cousins!  Thanks for coming and visiting, Trey and Holly!

What Happens in Vegas...

...stays in Vegas!  (Except these few photos)

The Water Show at the Bellagio.
The Eiffel Tower at the Paris.
 Another shot of the Paris.
Bahaha!  My husband has no sense of humor.
 Cleopatra at Caesar's Palace
Bahaha!  Look at what someone did to Caesar!

Believe it or not, I didn't carry my camera around at all on our trip to Vegas.  On our last day there, I told Tyson, "I haven't taken a single picture since we've been here!"  I definitely think, though, that some things need to stay in Vegas, but I did want to have something to remember our trip by.  So this is all I managed to snap in about in hour's time. :)

We had a FABULOUS trip!  Thanks to our moms for watching the boys for us!

SeaWorld

Dolphins!

Daddy being silly before the Shamu Show

The four of us went to SeaWorld for the first time today, and we will definitely be back. (I might have even bought us annual passes). :)  It was awesome!

I'll give y'all a break down of SeaWorld in case y'all haven't been recently.  First, the parking was relatively easy; we literally parked right outside the gate and walked on in.  One negative thing, though, was that the park was really spread out and we did A LOT of walking!  We didn't get to see much because of this (and the fact that a massive storm was brewing), but the things we did see, the boys LOVED!  We got to see dolphins, stingrays, sharks, polar bears, beluga whales, and killer whales at the Shamu Show.  We also got to ride several rides and we didn't even have to wait in a line AT ALL!  That, in itself, was best part of the day...NO LINES!  (Note to self- Tuesdays are the perfect day to go).  And the rides were Jake's favorite part of the day; Walker, on the other hand, said his favorite part were the sharks. :)

It was such a fun day!  I'm so sad that these outings as a family of four are coming to an end as football season is quickly approaching. :(  Oh well, SeaWorld will still be there in January.

Sunday Fun Day!

Jake, Sean, and Walker
That's Ryan in the background playing on the train table :)
 How crazy does this look?

No children were injured in the making of these photographs...just a lot of red bellies and backs. :)

I hope everyone had a great weekend!  We tried to hang around the house as much as we could with Walker being newly potty trained and all.  We spent a lot of time in the pool, but we did also venture out for Jake's t-ball game, a birthday party, and church.  Thankfully, Walker did great and has only had 1 accident since last Monday.  Woo hoo!

These pictures are from our Sunday Fun Day with our friends, the Wensyels.  I've mentioned them before, but the Wensyels live in our neighborhood, the boys take karate with Jake, Dave is a football coach at a local high school, and Angie and I get along really well.  Yep, it was a match made in Heaven for all of us. :)  Hahaha! That sounds lame, huh?  Anyways, fun times.

Potty Training Fun!

Yep, you read it right...we've been potty training Walker the last few days.  And believe it or not, we've been having fun!  If you're going to be stuck at home for 3 straight days with pee and poop up to your elbows and saying, "let me know if you need to go potty" five thousand times, why not have fun with it?  Ha!

It has surprisingly gone really well, especially considering Walker is only 27 months old.  He picked it up on day 1 and (knock on wood) hasn't had an accident since!  I can't tell you how proud Tyson and I are of him...and Jake, too!  Jake has been super supportive throughout this whole process and has been genuinely excited for Walker.  I am one happy Mama!  No more diapers in the Summers' house!!!  Woo hoo!

Fishing Trip!

Our family fishing trip!
 Walker driving the boat.
Jake said that "this was so cool, [he] could do it everyday."
 Jake's first shark.
Walker reeling in his first shark.
Walker was mad that he had to put down the chips to take a picture. ;)

 Jake's bonnet head shark.
He was so brave to hold the shark!!
He even helped Dr. Billy throw it back!

This is hilarious- Dr. Billy let go of the shark's tail to hold that dang sign, and the shark went crazy and flicked Walker in the face with his tail.  Haha!  This picture doesn't do it justice.
 My little bonnet head.

 Jake helping drive the boat.
Jake accidentally hooked his middle finger.  No joke, he rode around in that boat for a good 10 minutes with his middle finger up like that.

While we were in St. Simons, we took the boys on a kids' charter fishing trip.  Jake has been begging to go fishing on a "real boat," and I stumbled upon this kids' fishing trip and thought it was perfect.  Captain Dr. Billy (aka Billy Bee) is a former school superintendent that does these trips on the side, and he did a great job.  He was so good with the kids and very patient- I would HIGHLY recommend him; we're definitely going to use him again.

As you can tell from the pictures, Walker was mostly interested in eating chips the whole trip.  Jake, on the other hand, was so into shark fishing that he nicknamed himself "hammerhead Jake."  Ha!  We caught 4 little black-tip sharks and 2 bonnet head sharks (which are "cousins" to the hammerhead, according to Dr. Billy) between the four of us.  We probably could've caught more, but Mama started getting sea-sick and called it a day a little early.  Ha!
