My Baby Man

Sweet boy is trying to get up on those knees to crawl.  Unfortunately, he has a hard time getting that big ole belly off the ground.  Hahahaha! #fatboyproblems
I'm so glad I caught this on camera- do you see his right foot in the air?  This boy LOVES to kick his feet.  In fact, instead of crying to let me know he's awake, he kicks his feet.  His room is directly above the kitchen, and you can literally hear him kicking his feet from above.  I don't even have to use a baby monitor, for real.  I just listen for the kicks. :)
He's getting so close to sitting up on his own!

Magic Kingdom with the Bartons

Walker was so excited to be taking a picture in front of Cinderella's castle.
Again, more excitement from Walker as he eats with his cousins, Ryleigh Kate and Chase.
Yep, this happened.  He slept that way for about 45 minutes until he eventually fell out of the stroller.  Hahaha!
Anderson was happy to be at Disney!  He went on his first ride at Disney- the Pirates of the Carribean.
 RK
This was towards the end of the day...Jake was the only one with a real smile by this point.  They were over taking pictures!

 2/3 of my sweet boys.
Don't judge- it was hot, humid and we got stuck in 3 different rain storms.  It was still one of the best times at Disney, though.

The electrical parade!

This past weekend, my cousin, Christy, and her family came to Orlando to visit us and to go to Disney World. As soon as they got here Friday afternoon, and we loaded up and went to Jake's football game; to say they were entertained by Jake's football game is an understatement.  My super competitive child almost got into a fight and had to be separated by a coach. *Sigh* Anyways, we went home and had a pizza party and waited up for Tyson to get home. (The UCF coaches were honored at the Orlando Magic game and got to hang out in the Presidential Suite and were wined and dined while we were at home eating pizza and changing diapers).  *Another sigh*

Saturday morning, we woke up super early and headed out to the Magic Kingdom.  Tyson stayed back with Anderson so they could go to Jake's football game, where he scored his first touchdown!!  And I missed it!!! :(  Jake was excited to tell me about it once they got to Disney, though.  I just told him he has to score another one so I can see it. :)

So anyways, Tyson brought Jake and Anderson to the Magic Kingdom after the game.  I had already gotten our fast passes, so when they got there, we hit the big rides.  Jake rode Space Mountain for the first time and LOVED it!  He says his favorite is still Thunder Mountain, though. ;)  I couldn't get Walker to ride some of the thrill rides, but he was such a trooper and made it for 12 hours at Disney with minimal whining (which I say the "W"  in Walker stands for whining). ;)  Anderson and Tyson didn't stay long because it had already been a long day for Anderson.  All in all, everyone had a great time; I'm so glad Christy and the gang decided to come to town and do this.  It was her husband's and her kids' first time to Disney, and it was a truly magical experience for them.

Slime Time!

 Ryan Wensyel
 Jake
 Jake was somewhere in there.

 Sean Wensyel
Walker "Bleach" Summers.  Hahaha!  One time I asked Tyson where Walker was, and he said, "he's over there...where someone poured bleach."

Ignore the ugly bib...this kid is the most slobbery kid in the world!  But he sure had fun watching his brothers in the pool!
Jake was somewhere underneath all that slime!
Here he comes out- slimey and cold!
He was so proud of himself for getting slimed.

After we ate lunch with the Power Rangers, we decided to hit the pool at the Nick Hotel.  It started out as a pretty warm afternoon, but the temperature started dropping and it got cold fast!  Luckily, the pool was heated, so the key was just to stay submerged and never get out.  Ha!  Once Jake and Sean got slimed, we called it a day and headed home.  How awesome is it to live in a place that we can make a day trip out of something like this?

Go Go Power Rangers!

The boys getting some lessons from the Green Ranger.

Walker's favorite ranger.  He was in Heaven.

 Jake's favorite ranger.

Anderson grabbed a hold of the yellow ranger's glove and held on for dear life.  I had no idea he did that until I tried to walk away from the picture and the yellow ranger was being dragged along.  Hahaha!
The pink ranger was being so sweet to Anderson.  She kept playing peek-a-boo with him and he loved her mask.  (This is our friend, Dave's, head by the way).
The boys did NOT want to pose with the pink ranger...
...and neither did these boys.  Hahaha!

This past weekend, we went with our friends, the Wensyels, to the Nickelodeon Hotel for Power Ranger weekend.  Everyone had so much fun!

We started the day off with lunch with the Power Rangers.  I'll admit, I didn't know how two 6 year olds and an 8 year old would be with the whole experience, but I knew my 3 year old would have the time of his life...and he did...they all did!  And the adults even had fun!  Our fun was geared more, though, towards trying to figure out which Power Rangers were boys and which ones were girls.  Hahahaha!  You'd be amazed at how well they can move and jump in those spandex pants! ;)

After the lunch, we hit up the resort's pool where Jake had the "slime" of his life. ;)  More on that later!

The Little Two

I just realized that I haven't blogged in almost a whole week!  I have a fun blog coming up in the next few days, so stay tuned!  For now, though, I'll leave you with this picture of my two littlest boys.  Have a great weekend!

Anderson's Baptism

Pastor Lyndol let the boys pour the water into the bowl.  They thought they were pretty cool after that.
It was actually pretty cool...Lyndol used water from the Jordan River to baptize Anderson.

We're laughing here because Lyndol said (something along these lines), "If Anderson looks familiar, you might have seen his birth announcement on ESPN right after he was born.  Or it could be because you recognize him as baby Jesus."  Anyways, he want on to say a few more things along those lines that we weren't expecting and it was quite funny.

Celebrating Anderson's baptism with our church friends and family with a little cake in The Commons.
Some little boys had too much cake.
Bahaha!  I was trying to get a picture of the balloons and I caught this silly expression from my friend, Lisa (on the far left). :)
 My parents and my boys

The whole crew

Today, our sweet little Anderson was baptized here at our church in Orlando.  Like I said in the previous post, my parents and Mary Ann came to celebrate with us. I sure missed my grandparents being there, and I know my Granddaddy missed being there, too. :(

Anderson wore a cross that Mary Ann gave him and the christening gown now worn by all 3 Summers boys, my sister and I, my dad and his brother, and my dad's grandfather and maybe even more than that.  I sure wish we had the exact history on that gown, but either way, it sure is special and I'm honored my boys have gotten to wear it.  Jake and Walker thought it was hilarious that Anderson was wearing "a dress"...until I showed them pictures from their baptisms with them in that very same "dress."  Hahaha!  (Click here for Jake's baptism and click here for Walker's baptism).
