Bye Week

Ryan and Jake get tickled by Tyson

UAB had a bye week this week, so we got to enjoy another weekend with Tyson at home. After last week's busy weekend, we decided to keep it low-key and just hang out around the house this weekend. It ended up working out well since the weather has been so miserable with all this rain!

Friday night, we watched Ryan so that Ashley and Mike could go on a date, and tonight, they are gonna watch Jake so we can do the same. I am so excited to go on a date with my hubby!! Those opportunities are few and far between, especially during football season!

Because it was a bye week, most of the UAB football players got to go home and see their families. Unfortunately, 3 of Tyson's linebackers were not able to go home, so we had them over to our house today for lunch and to watch some football. Boy can they eat!! I grilled 6 monstrous steaks and had a huge thing of potatoes, green beans, and banana pudding, and they ate every. last. bite! Hey, whatever it takes to get these boys good and ready for Ole Miss next weekend!
