Since my King grandparents lived in Brunswick, I grew up going to Jekyll Island and St. Simons Island and have gone almost every year. However, in all my years, I have never been to Fort Frederica. (You can read more about Fort Frederica here). And since we were having to find things to do for the boys because of the cold weather, we decided to give Fort Frederica a shot. The boys LOVED it! They didn't quite get the history behind it, but they did enjoy playing "British vs Spanish." Then again, I think they just look for a reason to fight. ;)

I loved going to fort Fredrica growing up! We would also go to Christ Church and tour the graveyard which sounds morbid but I loved it as a kid! Lots of history!
