Anderson's 2 Year Check-Up
This sweet boy finally had his two year check-up this week. Here is how he measures up:
Anderson: weight- 29.3 lbs (50th) height- 36 in (90th)
Walker: weight- 28.5 lbs height- 35 in
Jake: weight- 34.5 lbs height- 35 in
Yep, he's tall and skinny like no person in our family ever. Hahaha! Everything checked out well with our baby boy.

The Hawkeyes
The Hawkeyes are now 3-1! Woo hoo! Jake got a pick 6 and 3 more touchdowns this weekend, and Walker had a really long run (almost the entire length of the field) and got his flags pulled on the 2. Walker also had some really good blocks for his brother. :) Go Hawkeyes!

The Alamo and My Mama
Two weekends ago, the other coaches' wives and I got to go to the CSU-UTSA game in San Antonio, Texas. They were all making fun of me because I kept saying, "we need to go to the Alamo...we need to go to the Alamo...we need to go to the Alamo." Who knew that no matter where you go in San Antonio, you have to pass by the Alamo? You literally can't miss it, and you literally can walk through the Alamo in about 10 seconds flat and see the whole thing. Needless to say, we had a lot of extra time to hang out at River Walk and sample some good mexican food and drinks. ;)
My mother-in-law came to Colorado and stayed for 12 days to watch the boys for me to go on the wives' trip AND so I could go to Georgia to see my mama. Mom started radiation Sept. 15, so I figured she could use a little sunshine. :) It was a very emotional visit for me, as usual, (hence the puffy eyes in the picture), but it was so good to see my mama. Thank you, Mary Ann, for making it possible!

The Rocky Mountain Showdown
My oldest two. Anderson stayed back with Tyson's mom.
Drew Bobo wanted a pic with my boys.
The crazy coaches' wives.
Walker's buddies, Tripp and Bode.
Two weekends ago, we traveled to Denver to take on the University of Colorado Buffaloes and lost a real heartbreaker 27-24. :( It was still a fun time and memorable experience for the boys watching their Daddy coach at Mile High Stadium.

Jake and Walker's Flag Football Game
Captains shaking hands before the coin toss.
Defense was up first. Walker played corner for this particular game. He has played wide receiver the other 2 games and recorded his first touchdown this past weekend...when I was in Texas. :(
Despite being one of the smaller and younger ones, Walker was one of the fastest on the field. He just needs to figure out how to run fast AND pull flags at the same time. Hahaha.
Look at his face here. Grr!!!
Jake has played runningback every game. He also goes in and plays defense a good bit, too. So far, Jake has 12 touchdowns in 3 games, and we're 2-1.
Go Team Summers!

Dad Visits and Minnesota Game
At the big boys' football game.
Cheering on the team in OT.
Dad and Tyson talking to "Old Coach Bobo." He and my Dad are two peas in a pod!
This past weekend was my big boys' first flag football game. This is a 1st and 2nd grade league, and Walker is playing up. It kind of happened by accident that way, but it sure makes life easier for me having to only deal with 1 set of practices and games. Walker is the smallest, as you can imagine, and Jake is the biggest. Sigh. Walker has been a good sport about it, though.
Jake played safety and running back and got 3 touchdowns for the team to win 3-0. Walker played wide receiver this game and had several really good plays; Walker could've gotten close to scoring on one long run but he thought his flags had been pulled and he slowed down.
After we left the big boys' games, we rushed across town to get to the CSU-Minnesota game. I can't remember the score (maybe 17-19?), but we lost in overtime. :( It was heartbreaking.
I think I forgot to mention that my dad flew into town to see both football games. My mom was supposed to come with him, but she was just too weak to travel. :( We had fun with my Dad, though, and I look forward to being able to go home in a few days all by myself to see my mama. :)

Anderson's First Day of School
Poor third child- this is the extent of his first day of school pictures. Yep, no mother of the year nomination for me.
Anderson started 2 day a week preschool this past week at the First United Methodist Church here in Fort Collins. We've been going to church at the Methodist Church, so it was a pretty easy transition for him. Also, our offensive coordinator's son, Charlie (aka "Dar Dar"), is in Anderson's class, so that was just icing on the cake. :)

Our First CSU Game!
The boys standing in front of the "A" by the stadium. CSU used to be Colorado A&M Aggies and the "A" is for support of the Aggies. (And the Aggies were orange, so we had an "orange out.")
That is Tyson in the bottom left-hand corner in the orange hat and yellow shirt. I miss our photographer from UCF.
Anderson and his buddy Eli.
How beautiful is the view from our seats? The stadium is built into the side of a mountain, so the stadium somewhat overlooks the city.
About to go on the field at the end of the game.
Anderson and Kate Bobo. :) By the way, Anderson had on an orange shirt, but he ate a little too much at the playground and then puked all down his shirt.
The fam :)
We won 65-13 against Savannah State.

Anderson's Birthday!
The big boys helped me surprise Anderson with this train table. How precious are they?
He was so excited! Anderson is as in love with trains as Jake was.
The big boys have had fun playing with the train table, too.
Anderson's cake. The boy LOVES Thomas the Train!
It was kind of hard to eat this cake, though, since the mountains look like poop balls.
Anderson insisted that his brothers wear these hats. He was obsessed! Luckily, they were good sports.
Bahaha! Look at the look on his face when he realized he got a potty for his birthday. Hahaha!
Luckily, Anderson's expression changed when he saw his cake. Haha!
Love.
Blowing out the candles. He got them both on the first try- even after both of his brothers tried to blow them out and missed!

Boys!
Our baby boy turned 2 today!!! Poor football season baby, though. We couldn't find a day that Tyson would be home to be able to celebrate with our friends, so we just celebrated Anderson's birthday just the 5 of us last night. And you know what? It was perfect! We all had a great time!
Anderson got a train table from my parents, a new car seat, some trains, and a potty. Anderson is not much of a talker, but he is really good at telling me "I tee tee" and "I poop" after the fact. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do as far as potty training with Anderson since he doesn't talk as well as his brothers did at this age (I potty trained both of them around 2 years 3 months), however, neither of them started telling me this early what was going on down there like Anderson does. Anyways, I think I'm going to try around Christmas if our schedule permits. I'm so ready to be done with diapers!
I'll write more about Anderson at 2 later. This mama is exhausted from all of this partying! Haha!
