Walker had his first soccer game of the spring season this past weekend, and he scored 5 goals!! He probably would've scored more, but the coach asked Walker to pass the ball to a teammate if he got the ball so that others might have a chance of scoring. Ha! Walker's just so fast and so aggressive that he usually ends up way ahead of everyone else and has to wait at the goal for someone to get down there to it. Ha! Go Walker go!

Walker Turns 5!
Walker turned 5 yesterday, April 10th. We're having a birthday party for him tomorrow with his friends, so for his actual birthday, we celebrated with my parents with presents, balloons, cake, and a birthday supper at our favorite local spot where the staff sang "happy birthday." Walker was so embarrassed he couldn't even eat his cake. Hahaha! Happy 5th birthday, Walker! Mama and Daddy love you!

Easter!
Our first ever Easter bunny cake. The boys decorated it all by themselves. :)
Our Easter Sunday didn't quite turn out as planned. Jake started feeling bad Saturday night and still felt pretty puny Sunday morning; he didn't even want to eat any of his Easter bunny goodies and asked to go back to bed- I knew he must've been really sick then. Ha! So we ended up missing church and missing our annual Easter lunch at my friend, Carol's house. Boo! Oh well, I hope everyone else had a great Easter!

Gameball!
Jake had a baseball game this past Friday night, and he got the game ball!! We ended up losing the game, but it was a close one thanks to Jake's home run that hit two other runs in.
Jake had a field trip this past Friday to Legoland, so I just knew he'd be zapped for the baseball game. This was his best game, though! His first at bat, he made a great hit to short stop, but it got the runner out at second for the third out. The next time he got up to bat, he nailed it right field. It took the right fielder a little while to get the ball. Meanwhile, speedy Jake was rounding third and I was yelling "GO...GO....GO!" At the same time, Jake's third base coach was yelling "hold up, Jake!" Guess who Jake listened to?...Mama, of course. I was just so excited that I didn't realize it would be a close one. Sure enough, Jake is running home and the second baseman throws it home; Jake slid and was SAFE! Oh my gosh, he was pumped!! The coach, on the other hand, wasn't very happy with mama for sending him home. Hahaha. Oh well. I'm so glad Jake is out of his batting slump! Whew! That child is competitive!

Easter Egg Hunt
It was our church's Easter egg hunt this past weekend. Lots of our friends from school and church were there, including one of Walker's besties, Dalton.
Lordy. I told the boys to stand next to each other for a picture, and silly Walker does this...
...so Jake grabs his ear to get him to stop. Hahaha. Anderson, of course, is absolutely oblivious.
The one decent picture I have of Anderson smiling and Jake is wiping his nose while Walker does some super hero pose. Goodness gracious!
Oh well, maybe one day mama will get a decent shot with all 3. Maybe I should've dressed them nicer? They always get so dirty at this thing, though! Hahaha!
Anderson was up first to hunt eggs.
He had to take a break every now and then to suck his thumb.
He kept pointing and calling the eggs "balls." Hahaha!
Can you see the boo boo on his chin? Yep, he fell on the concrete outside while I was grilling. He probably could've used stitches, but nurse Beth butterflied that sucker right up. I've seen enough of urgent care centers and ER's lately.
The big brothers were proud of Anderson's egg hunting ability.
Walker's turn!
Between Walker's allergic reaction and the hit and run 2 weeks ago, Walker is afraid to leave my side. He only got a few eggs and then decided he was done. :(
Jake's turn! The big boys were ready!! (Jake, Gavin, Parker, and a little boy I don't know)
Meanwhile, the middle brothers looked on. (Walker, Ethan, and Grant)
And the little siblings shared snacks. This is Ethan's and Gavin's sister, Chloe.
Busted!
He's off!
Despite being reminded that this is not a race and it doesn't matter how many eggs you get, you all get the same prize, Jake took out a few folks (mainly the girls) to get the eggs. Lord have mercy on this child.
Jake's 7 Year Stats
Before we left for Spring break, Jake had his 7 year check up. For my records, he weighed 63.5 lbs (90%) and was 51.25 inches (90%) or 4' 3.25" tall.

Easter Eggs and the Beach!
These are the last of the pictures from our spring break trip to St. Simons. As you can tell, we had a fun time dyeing Easter eggs with my mom. Anderson even got into it; he was definitely more interested in cracking the eggs, though, than actually the decorating of the eggs. Ha!
We only got to enjoy one day at the beach due to all the cold and rain. The sun came out, though, and we made the most of it- the boys had a blast digging holes and building sand castles . Mom wasn't feeling that well that particular day, so we had to cut the trip short. :(
