Go, Go Power Rangers!

Walker's class was learning about the letter "Q" this week at school, so they had tea with the "queen" one day and had to get dressed up.  Walker was so excited and picked out his clothes all on his own.
We usually meet up with the neighbors in the afternoon back behind the Sperry's house in the alley, but the littlest Sperry was sick this week so we took the party over to our house.  For some reason, the boys (ages 1 to 12) decided to play power rangers.  Ha!
Can  y'all spot Anderson?  Hehehe.

Hotlando

Shorts, t-shirts, and popsicles in March? Only in Orlando, and definitely not in Colorado.  Enjoying it while we can. :)

The boys were begging to go in the pool, but it was still a little too cold and they've been a little too sick lately.  So they settled for the next best thing...playing on the float beside the pool and bouncing Anderson off of it.  Hilarious!
Yes, my boys really do love each other this much.  Life isn't always perfect and they drive me nuts at least 50% of the time, but somehow, we've raised little boys that are truly best friends.

Our First Trip to Fort Collins

Clearly, my boys were all really excited to be taking a picture first thing in the morning.
Our good friend from our old coaching days at Georgia Southern, Jeff Beckles, was in town also for the weekend.
As we were looking at houses, we were able to watch the sunset over the mountain.  Beautiful!
Colorado State's stadium.  It sits right at the foothills of the mountain.
"A" for Aggies, which was Colorado State's mascot back when they were an agricultural college.

I can't remember what Tyson called this place, but it was absolutely stunning, as you can tell by the pictures.

You could see out over the city of Fort Collins.
We climbed to the top of this little mountain, and Tyson and I were petrified that the boys would fall off.  Notice the death grip that Tyson has on the boys.  Hahaha.

"I'm the king of the mountain!"

 The football office
This is what Tyson calls "the mystery machine."  When they first moved to Colorado, all 5 of the new coaches rode around in this thing together.  Hahaha!
 Cam the Ram
Shooting hoops at the Colorado State basketball arena.

The snow was really starting to fall as we got to Denver Sunday night.

And this is what it looked like at our hotel Monday morning.  The boys were so excited!

The big boys and I flew out to Colorado this past weekend to visit Tyson in Fort Collins for the first time.  We had a few things on the agenda between the 4 of us: 1) find a house, 2) hike up a mountain, 3) play basketball on Colorado State's gym floor, 3) and SEE THE SNOW!  And we almost accomplished all of that!  (We're still working on the house part...it's a tough market out there!) and then some!  We also got to go to Tyson's office and watch spring mat drills, meet the coaches, and get a little workout in with some of the coaches for the Summers boys. :)

It was a very busy weekend and the kids and I are now sick as dogs, but I'm so glad we got to go.  The boys seem really excited about the move and they were so happy to see their Daddy. :)

Tyson Finally Came Home!!

It had been a little over 3 weeks since we had seen Tyson, and he finally came home this past weekend!  It was the absolute best weekend we've had in a long time...maybe ever.  As you can tell from the smiles above, my boys were in Heaven having their Daddy home.  He got to see them both play ball, and they both showed out for him.  It was such a great weekend!
