Walker's Soccer Party
Walker got his soccer trophy last week at his end of the season party. He sent the soccer season out with a bang by scoring a goal (in our teams' goal!) in the last game. I couldn't be more proud of Walker; to be the youngest, smallest, and most inexperienced player on the team, he worked hard and never gave up. He definitely earned the respect of his teammates and became a leader on the team. I'm a proud mama for sure.

School's Out For Summer!
My mom with my crazies before she left.
First day of summer!
That's Daniel, DJ, Jake, and Walker. They kept asking me to photograph them so that they could see their crazy jumps.
There has been lots of games of peekaboo around this coffee table with this one.
And lots of this.
First day of summer vacation and I looked up and realized I had 7 boys and 1 girl in my house. I'm pretty sure this is our new normal in our new 'hood. (This is the big boys' play room/video game room, by the way).
This is out of order, but this is their last day of school pic. Can't you tell how thrilled they are about being home with mama all summer by those fake smiles on their faces?

The New Digs
This is definitely the cutest package ever!
This is Carl, our neighbor. Apparently, he has a wife named Mary, but we have yet to see her. We've seen a lot of critters since living in this house, including a snake (eeks!) that tried to slither its way into the garage this morning as we were leaving to take Jake to school. Y'all should have seen me trying to kill this snake- all I could find was a broom and a stick. I swept the snake to the end of the driveway and then beat it with a stick all while Jake is yelling "CALL 911...CALL 911!." Hahaha! I'm sure the neighbors think we're crazy! Anyways, this house backs up to a conservation, so it could get interesting around here.
The house also came with this sweet swingset. The boys have LOVED it! (Ignore Jake's black eye...he had a carnival at school and had his face painted like a pirate).
I'll show more pics of the inside once the clutter is cleared, but here is a shot of the outside.
So far, this has been the boys favorite part of the house...an outdoor shower. They have only taken one shower inside the house since we've been here, which is fine by me since that's one less shower that I have to clean. Ha!
Ok, so this has nothing to do with the house, but I had to post this picture since this dang duck is such an integral part of our lives. You see, I started bathing Anderson in this duck when he started sitting up, and now, I can't get him out of it! If you put Anderson in a regular bath tub without the duck, he'll scream his head off and throw himself all over the bath tub. Drama. So over the ducky.

Memorial Day Weekend
My mom and Anderson
My nephew and niece, Jace and Gracie
My mom with her grands
All the Summers boys
#1 and #3
He's thinking really hard about eating the sand...
...so he did. And he loved it!
My #2. Yes, I've become that mom who gives her children a number.
Twins.
Total Diva. Gracie insisted on wearing sunglasses the entire meal. Ha!
Happy 40th Anniversary to my parents!!
The only pic I have of my dad from the weekend...and Jake is mean-muggin.
Matching cousins.
We spent Memorial Day in St. Simons Island, Ga with my parents and my sister and her family. Saturday, we hit the beach and pool where the Summers family acted like some rookie Floridians and got burnt! We didn't lose any kids this year, though, so it was still a major success.
Saturday night, we surprised my parents with an early anniversary dinner complete with cake and flowers. I think my mom was really surprised and excited; dad was in on the surprise, but he still acted surprised anyways. Hahaha!
Sunday morning, all the boys (well, not Anderson) went on a charter fishing trip. Walker and Jace caught some sting rays, Jake caught a shark, my dad caught some flounder, Courtney caught a shark, and Tyson caught some flack from everyone for not catching anything. Hahaha! I'll have to post pics from the fishing trip next. :) While the boys fished, the girls and Anderson were a little lazy and hung out in our PJs most the morning; that was pretty awesome. Once the boys got back, we took our boys down to the pier and called it an early night.
This trip was way too short, but it was just what we needed. Between packing this house in preparation for the move and dealing with Tyson's recruiting, we were all in need of a vacay. Unfortunately, we got home and the house had not packed itself, so back to the boxing I go. :/

Jake's Kindergarten Program
Daniel and Jake
Once he spotted us...and saw my camera. ;)
My little lily pad.
Jake's school had their Kindergarten program this past week. He has been singing these songs and going through the motions for weeks, but of course, he got on stage and sort of froze. Sweet boy just doesn't like that kind of attention, and that is perfectly fine. His stage is more in the shape of a football field or baseball diamond. ;)

Walker's End of the Year Program
*Please note the jean shorts...yes, I had to borrow them from a friend just for this. Welcome to Florida, folks!
Walker's school had their end of the year program this week. As you can tell from the video, Walker wasn't much into the singing, but he got every single motion correct. He even made sure his friends were doing the correct motion. ;)
