Pool Time!!

I'm pretty sure I'm breaking some major rules of ISR by letting Anderson use a flotation device, but that water was too cold for this mama to get in and help him swim.  Haha!
Good thing Anderson's biggest brother helped him out!
 All the boys!

I wish I could've taken a "before" photo of the backyard.  We have done LOTS of work to get it to look this good!  I love it!!  It'll be great for all the entertaining we'll have to do.

Little did I know here that Walker was at the beginning stages of strep here. :(

It's hard to believe that just 2.5 short months ago we were up to our knees in snow in Colorado and now we're swimming in our pool in Georgia!  Well, the kids are swimming in the pool...it's way too cold for any adult in their right mind. Ha!  It sure is going to be a fun summer!!

Professional Pics of Tyson at the Spring Game

So this section is more for myself, but y'all might like these pics, too.  Tyson's agent will come to once a year for updated pics of Tyson to add to his portfolio, and the good ole blog always comes through in helping me find pics.  Haha!

Georgia Southern Spring Game

The kids with GUS, Georgia Southern's mascot.

This is Walker during the Punt, Pass, and Kick contest.  I had to leave, unfortunately, and wasn't able to see the boys compete.  My granddaddy got in a wreck right in front of the stadium so I had to bolt to go see about him. :(  The boys did good, though, from what I hear.
 Jake kicking. :)
 Anderson cheesing it up.

RK and Christy.  We were blessed to have lots of family and friends come to the game. :)
 Walker and Gracie.
 Anderson and "PaPa's Daddy."
 Wade, the poser.
Our neighbors and Boro besties, the Stricklands.
These boys wreaked havoc on the coaches' offices while the game was going on.
Me and Allison.  So so so thankful for this family!
 Coaches' wives!
Georgia Southern has a great little turf football field in the end zone of the football field where kids can play during the game.  It's awesome!!
Anderson and my Dad. :)

Walker's 6th Birthday!

 Jake, Walker, Sophie, and Wade

Walker turned 6 on April 10th!  We had already celebrated his birthday at my parents' over Easter, so for his actual birthday, we just celebrated with our next door neighbors, the Stricklands.  We went to The Clubhouse here in Statesboro where Walker chose to bowl, play laser tag, and spend lots of money in the arcade.  Hahaha!  After that, we came home and played in the driveway with Walker's new electric spinner wheels and ate cupcakes. Walker said it was the best birthday ever!  Happy birthday, Walker!

Spring Break: Thomaston Edition

 Anderson loves "PaPa's Daddy"
He loves his PaPa, too. :)

For the last part of Spring Break, we went to Thomaston to spend some time with my parents and my granddaddy.  Mom had perked up a little from when we saw her last at Easter, so that was good.  She was even able to sit up with us most of the whole day and interact with the kids, which was awesome.  And as you can tell, she got lots of good hugs from the kiddos. :)

Spring Break: St. Simons Edition

My boys had Spring Break this past week, so we loaded up and met my sister and cousins, who all happen to all have the same Spring Break, in St. Simons.  We jumped out of the car the second we got there and hit the pool; the water was a little too cold for the adults and littlest ones to get in, but we still had fun nonetheless.  The second day, we hit the beach.  The ocean was frigid, however, there was a little lagoon where the tide had washed out that the kids enjoyed playing in.  Later that night, Walker ended up going into respiratory distress so we cut the trip short and got back home to the doctor.  He's fine now, but he sure gave me a scare!  I guess all of this pollen and change of weather mess just got the best of his asthma.  :(
